About the Artist
Barbara Hann is a writer and artist based in Central Brittany, France. Her work explores the intersection of narrative and visual art, from humorous short stories to atmospheric Breton landscapes. Her portfolio includes various exhibitions and publications that capture the unique spirit of her surroundings.
She lives in a stone cottage in the middle of agricultural land with her partner and a small spicy Romanian rescue dog, Molly.
Her writing is often inspired by her inner gremlin, a voice she has named Maurice. He has a tendency to hijack her Substack notes and essays.
He's not very nice.
